Seen an SB8 at chrishallmotorcycles.co.uk and am having trouble identifying it properly. Was this ever a factory std paintjob and I've never seen a headlight like that on an SB8.

Anyone any ideas? |

				I don't know a lot about sb8's. The paint scheme does look a little different to others that i've seen but. _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |

Interesting sort of hybrid. looks like a standard SB8r with a SB8k paint scheme; headlight conversion might be from a gsxr.

Thanks for everybody's help and advice I've just done a deal on a genuine unmolested SB8R, which seemed a much more sensible (?) option.

No doubt I'll be back on soon for some owners advice.

Garage will now progress to 83.33% Italian.

1x Ducati Monster S4 challenge bike, 2x Gilera Nordwest, 1x Aprilia RS250 Mk1, 1x Triumph Trident T160 and soon an SB8. A boyhood dream is now realised.

If somebody can explain how to attach pictures to a post I'll stick some on once the bike arrives. |

Yep, that's the bike Premier had, been for sale for about 3yrs, has lots of none standard front end stuff, clocks /fairing/light etc. Think they said it was not accident damaged just something someone hand wanted to make look better ??????

Went to Newark autojumble today and was rather surprised to see an SB8 for sale there...which on closer inspection was this same bike, now reduced to £6850.

Still with the same butt-ugly front end mods and a really appalling polished swingarm to match! |
