Welcome to the Forum Dingbat and Congrats...just need some pictures from you now so we can see what you have ....Late Evo with Jolly Moto pipes? Carbed version?
Presumably Vort has helped out here so excuse me for whatever he has already aided with as regards duplication...there are a few things that need to be done before you fully use it.
As nice as Piero and his boys are there are a few checks needed to have them properly sorted and then you are in for the ride of your 2-stroke life...just be careful...the addiction runs high and unchecked...leading you to license losing potential on every inch of the road.....
I've had a few folk ride mine and all say they are the absolute bees knees of all 2-strokes...as they should be..power way off the marks of any RG500/RD500 etc...think 130-140Hp in the frame and weight of an Aprilia RS250...and you are getting close to what they deliver...Let my local Ducati Mechanic have a go and he reckoned below 8thou revs its got the beating of any Modern day Ducati, Panigale included...so you have been warned...Still my favourite of all Bimotas.....just love the smell of 2-stroke in the mornings//.... |
