Scrubbing in a new tire close to home, here in Portland Oregon.
Sorry about the soft focus, I need more practice with the iPhone!

Portland Oregon looks like good biking roads. What the Police like out there for speeding ?
Can't go anywhere in the UK without police speed camera's these days , and the flith getting lazy !!! One of my mates went out at w/e on a good biking road and they just put camera's at the start and finish of the road and do an average speed over the 10 miles !!! B'stards .

The speed enforcement varies depending on whether it is State Police, County Sheriff, or city police. Some are more likely to give warnings and some allow varying amount of speed over the limit. We do not have speed cameras outside of certain areas like school zones or sensitive areas in town.
10 mph over is often doable, but the officers in small jurisdictions can be less forgiving!

Germanys good,,,,lots of sneaky speed cameras in grey poles...no warning or id...but law says they have to be front facing to snap the driver also...hence fine for bikers, as in "no fine"... Laughing
