I was going through some old photo's and found these
I guess I was in love with Bimota well before I could afford one
First TESI AND DB1 in NZ
and The factory YB4 at the final round of the first ever WSBK season
Plus my awesome little GSXR400 and its big brother that I rode up to a glacier on, touring, camping and off roading on gravel roads on a superbike
Good times, who else has some old photo's from Back in the day ? _________________ Hursty from kiwi land |

It's my first leather, I got it around 85 ish, obviously I was a goth.
The black and burgundy was made for me by a friend, she's the daughter to a designer who did some of the stage outfits for Elton John. The grey one I got in 95 in Camden market, it's angora I've come to apperciate it as my hair seems to be deserting me
Some people dress to conform, to blend in ... I've never been much good at that. _________________ Don't read everything you believe |

Sure is
Rode a early Gsx750 in a practice for the beach racing aged 14 at 180 ks per hour on speedway tyres flat hard sand for miles. my older brother won the Burt Monro trophy 3 times on his kawa900 based superbike hitting 240ks between the drums set out 1 mile apart.
Crazy days not many rules

Nice.
Looking at your wheelie and clothing I get the impression that it is a recording of a Mad Max movie.
I mean that as a compliment.

I see your mustard two piece complete with motocross boots, and raise you with a non-road legal snow mobile helmet, nylon flight jacket, combat boots, and a pair of ultra-thin fashion gloves.
I was a complete idiot.

Love the bike Speedmade not sure about those gloves though
Seems to be a few Yamaha's in our past
A few more shots from that final first season Superbike race and our local Castrol 6hr race.
DB1rs Fred Merkel won the day on an RC30, he pulled HUGE wheelies down every straight of every lap of practice and then went out and smoked them in the races. But the YB4 was the best looking thing there and the only team with matching outfits _________________ Hursty from kiwi land |
