sb6 bolt size

hi all, I have frame protectors fixed to the top motor mount ,if I remove these compleat with the long bolts I will need to replace with std size, any idea what size these are ? thanks AL

I can not visualize how your frame protectors are mounted.
Therefore, it is my not clear which bolt you mean.
Can you make a picture.

I'm pretty sure they're M10 x 40 fine pitch.

HI vince, photo not possible at the moment, so in less than a thousand words here goes, the bolt size I need is for the cylinder to frame mount hidden behind the black grommet halfway up the frame rail cheers AL HI jonny, thanks for the info I"ll give your bolt size a go, cheers AL

HI evilchic I'm unable to use the gauge, as the bolts I need have been replaced with overlength bolts which hold the nylon crash protectors in place, I think VINCE is right, a picture may be required . thanks AL

Measure the threaded shaft not the bolt head. Although, if you measure the shaft and ad 4 (generally) you'll get the AF or spanner size
