Jeeso Zok , you take some convincing, the later models Db5 and Db6 have a sticker on the ergal drop outs marked 100Nm torque settings
Page 108 of the American Version of the DB7 Owners Handbook extract as below, direct cut and paste:-
5. Tighten the rear axle rod at the torque of 100 Nm. If you have not a torque wrench, contact immediately
your Bimota dealer to verify the installation is made in the proper way.
Let me know if you need an English Version of the Owners Manual sending through to you |

You know what that means in Australian don't you? I've never used a torque wrench on an axle bolt on any of my bikes over the last 25 years or so. _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |

Does FT mean F'ing tight or Finger Tight? Would probanly love to tighten to 100Nm but from recollection my torque wrench only goes to 70Nm...minor bolts are done on wrist pressure with an extra flick to be sure...worked so far. You only have to snap a few bolts in your lifetime before your arm realises when enough is tight enough |
