Not Bimota, but close! Maybe we should have an other marques section!
finally.. . . . they arrived.
please, any comments good, bad, suggestions then fire them in!
Both bikes have come from europe so will be going for an MOT this week, then I'll get them registered. Once that's done one will be sold. Verdict is still out on which tho!
here's the M1R forked 851 with 888 motor.
It's had a major service in March, shouldn't need much. nothing too obvious. Shame the fairing lower got damaged in transit.
more pics here http://s188.photobucket.com/albums/z143/oilphiluk/851%20M1R/?start=all . Can you tell if it's an SP4 or Sp5 motor? tank is ally with a quick release filler.
here's the USD 1991 model with ohlins rear, needs belts and a service. Currently I've not tried to start it, until I get the belts done, look like thye've not been touched in a while, tho no signs of cracking on the belts
more pics here http://s188.photobucket.com/albums/z143/oilphiluk/851%20USD/?start=all

Oh Don't be like that GeeKay, at least their is a forum, maybe we should start a Mantra Forum, for the Guiness book of Records? Smallest ever postings list. Or you could tag it onto "Dirty ugly mingers.com" always looking for new members
Please don't hit the link for Mingers.com, its not for real (For our Foreign buddies that may not get the British Sense of humour... ) |

Hi Phil, I'll email you from my new works address tomorrow, as old one only for weekends and evenings, keeping my fingers crossed for ya again.
I'll show you piccies of cam belts and dirty rollers tomorrow, that will pale others seen recently, aka the Pup, 1991, and to think I road it home, tough old brutes, you shouldn't have any concerns |
