				| Hi All,
Just purchase a YB11 and need to know what needs to be serviced. The bike has 2800km and has only been around the block and had its brakefluid changed.

What needs to be done to keep it fresh. I will not ride it but for the trip around a longer block than before?

 Peter

				| With 2800km it's low mileage for the age.
 Personally I'd change all fluids:
 Oil and filter
 Coolant
 Fuel
 Brake and clutch

 If you're keen
 Forks and rear shock too

Additionally I would normally change the spark plugs.

If the fuel is OK the filter can be left, but you may consider it too

I'd check the air filter, but it should be OK.

If the tyres are over 3 - 5 years change them to

Check the chain tension and also lube it.

Check the brakes, they should be OK but expect some rust and maybe they will need rebedding in.

Normally I'd also add some cleaner to the fuel to clear the carburettors, I've had poor running after a long sleep.

Also expect some leaks during initial riding, so check the bike carefully during initial usage - forks can be problematic as can fuel connectors.

				| If it's been sitting for a while, the carbs will need a strip and clean. Even if the float bowls were drained when it was parked up, the residual fuel in the carb internals turns to shit. A complete strip and ultrasonic clean is the best way. _________________
