Well....only 6 shouts so far....i had mentally set a minimum of "10" shouts for me to post up pictures... So...it looks like i've been saved the effort of doing so....and...out of respect of this forum where we have all met and have helped each another since 2002....and without which we all could be poorer or richer...but certainly with less bimotas... Fb eh....diluting the world over....??!! |

Shout?
I imagine a bunch of those "guests" are web crawlers, not actual humans |

If I include myself....its a "big" 15 shouts so far.....mainly doing this to see if its still worth my time and effort to post it up here as a Worlds Exclusive...outside of Facebook....as because.....It is a "1 of 1" special ever made by Bimota in 2007....paraded over to Harrods of London and it sat in their store on the Borsalino Hat Company Stand/Section of Harrods.....And then up and down Italy in various Borsalino Hat company shops and stores, including their main branch in Milan.....Basically is a "mille" DB5 with Ohlins front and Rear.....early model...white round central Bimota "b" logo'd" tacho....All satin Black bodywork...single seat...Squishy Carbon open Zard end cans....
The wheels, and all alloy milled parts on the entire bike, rear wheel drop outs, chain sliders, caliper bracket, frame plates, gear shaft rod, footpegs, kick plates, gear and foot levers, hanger plates...swivelly bits, vented mesh infills, top and bottom front yokes etc etc (save for the sidestand for some reason) have been coated in 24 carat gold... apparently theres 500grammes of the stuff on the bike...backed up with the Goldsmiths Assignation certification from the platers in Milan.....so its 1/2Kilo heavier than the average "mille"....I've leave the financiers out there to calculate the value of Gold Price per half Kilo at todays market value for GOLD.....
Update is that the Bike is now due for delivery at 8.30am tomorrow morning....And it will be transported down to my local garage for its MOT...and then onto DVLA registration to register and assigning the plate DB05 BOR...bike is now insured...Big up for Footman James...on "agreed value" policy.....But...as they say...if it was to suffer an "all loss" claim...then they would use Market value of same bikes for sale elsewhere...as thats whats in the smallprint….Well...Good luck on finding another when theres only one...I didn't say to them....
Heres a "deliberate" small thumbnail of the said bike to "whet" your appetite when it was in the Shop window at Harrods in London....and my nice number plate man with the personalised number plate assigned to the bike...
You'll all have to wait until midnight tonight to see the stream of actual photos and detailed shots...lucky for you fellows in Oz and USA...as you may still be awake... |
