Hi, my first post from the other side of the world. Been reading the forum the past 6 months with great interest. Thought i could get a new tesi but after unfulfilled promises and a 6 month wait for nothing, had no choice but to get the next best thing. If all things go smoothly, the 985 should arrive in a couple of weeks. Still wish i could get a tesi though... _________________ 2008 Night Rod Special, 2011 Diavel, 1993 900SS |

Thanks. My efforts started end last year and I was told that Bimota apparently no longer had an engine for the Tesi (??) then I was told they might sell me (I think) a No. 8 sitting at the workshop but later, it was apparently shipped to Australia. Then when Bimota's marketing rep was in SGP, he told the dealership they should have enough parts to put one together for me. 2 months later, several emails later, still no word. I guess I should be more patient. I could wait 6 months if there was a bike being built but 6 months and still no news if there is one to sell... _________________ 2008 Night Rod Special, 2011 Diavel, 1993 900SS |

Still I guess a 985 vyrus is not such a bad trade off. You can always spray it silver and red and pretend its a Bimota Tesi 2D. We wont tell.
Welcome to the mad house , Vyrus are allowed, in fact if you ever get bored of it and want a quick sale I'll take it off your hands. |

Thought I'd share some of the photos of the bike that arrived. It's still in the process of homologation here so still waiting for it to get on the road. Testing with 1 shot of the box arriving...

Thanks and yes the paper work is horrendous. Bike has been garaged for a month now. Would have been fine if it was inside a crate but seeing it everyday but not able to ride is cruel and tormenting _________________ 2008 Night Rod Special, 2011 Diavel, 1993 900SS |
