I know its early but is anyone interested in going to this years Manx Gp? Its already late for booking accom and stuff but we may get lucky as the demand is not as much as the tt. Or, perhaps the Northwest 200? I can take you on a tour of all my old stomping grounds around the province! _________________ Pomps

We were again just discussing this.................
Because the Manx is a couple of weeks early this year it clashes with my job finishing and awkward for swmbo getting leave.
So we were discussing the NW as we haven't been for years.
Thought you were "away" for the NW? |

I'm probably going to the NW200. Go most years as know a few people over there.
Could possibly be on for the Manx as always fancied going but never got around to it. |

Bimotanige is your man for the Manx - he goes every year.
I've just booked to go to the Bikers Classic at Spa Francorchamps with the Kawasaki triples gang (though mine wont be ready, so its Mantra for me) _________________ Bimota SB6 and Benelli TNT 899S road bikes.

I have been in Manx gp 2 times, 2010&2011.
My friend raced there and I was in what You could describe "supporting team", which means I cooked the meal for my mates and did take some of running things that the mechanic and the rider was unable to concentrate with.
Originally we had the plan to take my Bimota there in the van, but when there is 2 race bikes and all the other stuff in the van, there were not enough space for my ride.
one of my mates came there with his Motoguzzi and I was able to loan his machine for a brief ride.
At 2009 I was in the Man to see the Pre-tt classic with my Bmw.
This year my friend in competing in the Pre-tt classic at Billow circuit and I am coming there too.
Not with the Bimota but by plane. I try to sneak my enduro, Bmw G450x to his van, because it takes so little space and I really hate be on the Man without the bike.
Is there any enduro routes on the there?
Sometimes it has crossed my mind to find some small garage on the Man to keep one bike there and the fly there couple times per year to have some fun weekend.
Flights from there are not that expensive and that place suits nicely for the Bimota as it really does not have any use in here where I live.
If my friend keeps his interest to race there, it would be reasonable to have one bike there which he could use for practising.
Our insurance system is builded differently than in many other countries. The insurance is always valid even if someone else that the bike owner uses the machine. All you need is the written permit from owner to rider.
So, I suppose that some of my friend would be interested to visit the Isle and to have bike in their use... _________________ Older i get, faster I was |
