Bimota killer frames scandal!!!

Bimota's much lauded Suzuki - powered superbike contender has been blighted with potential frame failure that could lead to rider's being seriously injured
or killed. MCN has exclusive news of a near frame failure suffered by a long time Bimota devotee who wishes to remain anonymous. Rainer said that he first
noticed the cracks in the frame when cleaning the bike after a "steady" ride out. MCN have presented the evidence to management at the Rimini factory.
Their response was one of puzzlement as they say they have no records of ever having made this bike.
They invited our MCN reporter into the factory and, true to their word, he could find no evidence of any parts on the shelves that would indicate production
of this machine ever actually took place.
This was a view disputed by local historian, Giorgio Sarti, who claims that Bimota did produce 1358 units, and that because he says so, it's right.

Odd - there's wear on the frame above the footrest and a slight colour change just below the tank.

Weld it up and carry on.

According to the seller it’s a vibration crack.

What do you think,.. is it caused by vibrations:?:

If you've got a spare frame then 3,150 euros might be ok

Someone I know had a nasty off when breaking really hard on his R6, the frame broke away at the headstock. These things can happen I suppose.

Its possible that the bike had been in an accident though or maybe someone has fitted the engine incorrectly causing undue stress on the frame.
