|
|
Clock is ticking......6 days possibly to go......Following on from a very arduous 24 hours spontaneous trip to the Netherlands, delayed flights, cancelled trains more fog and snow related instances than were even thrown at Scot of the Antartic. Problems with girlfiend, too much intake of liquids and other noxious substances in HamsterJam.........
9 hours in airports, 7 hours on trains, 5 hours in a hotel and 4 hours in the Brown Bars, international phone calls, plethora of email exchanges, overuse of Google translate english to Dutch.
Hopefully deal done, delivery arranged, leap of faith tomorrow with final payment trnasfer, keep your fingers crossed for me lads and more details will be provided
Oh and not forget to mention thanks for assistance from Laminator and Vort

Well the 2Bims strictly should hsve been revised after the YB11 went to Vort, but I had a hankering for the name and come next Monday, with all of our fingers crossed, the "monica" 2Bims can remain.
And as a collective, just for oily, it would also then make 4 cylinders, his favourite combination
Snap shot later.... |

Out of interest....
How's it being delivered?
As you know, a few bikes pop up in Europe and it would be useful to know how to get the non road worthy ones back _________________ SB6 mk1 (project mega light, big bore)

Getting Tetchy THere Oily? Apologies for late response, had to make the final transfer of funds today and what with that and driving to work my multi-tasking skills were already fully engaged
Now when I went over to HamsterJam, was it for a new "bike" and if so does it have wheels? Please click Options Left or Right
Or could it be something entirely different? DB5R, Santa Monica? DB7? Hhmmm.........
Transportation seems simples, company from Blackpool, they drop bikes off throughout Europe for track days or folk to tour for a week or so, they simply fly over to Hotel and their bike is there for them, and then fly home and bike comes back later. Fortunately they have a collection going over to the NEtherlands and coming back later this week so Lets Hope.... |

From what you've already said, it must be a DB of some description and the fact you've been to hamsterjam it could very well be that DB = Dirty Bitch
but all that time and effort is more likely to mean another motorcycle _________________ SB6 mk1 (project mega light, big bore)

I'll give more details on this as and when it finally happens, don't want to jinx it and can't recommend until it arrives, but so far comms has been excellent and price quoted more than reasonable for effort involved |

I'm starting to get the feeling that it may look something like this...
Still "half an engine" by oily's standards. _________________ Look for my books...
