No worries Mike...it all depends which Oil warning light is coming on.....that twisted tied feed under the oil sight window should lead to the thermometer warning light within the round koso tacho....as opposed to the Oil pressure warning light within the idiot cluster on the left that also has indicators and main beam lights.......During normal operation you should see 3 or 4 bars in the lcd come on...max 5 if the bike is in standing traffic....but you'll know if its getting warm/hot....as your left leg will start to warm up from the unshielded left header feeding to the end can on the left......teehee....gets warm under there...Moto Corse pipes have heat shields on both sides to stop this.....its sort of an issue is that you feel the heat on the left more than on the right.....I've never had the oil pressure warning light or the high temp warning light coming on....but as it works on resistance I reckon the tortuous twisting and tie wrap is causing its on in built resistance more than there being an actual issue....... |

Just picked up a DB6 and having exactly the same issues .. Oil temp warning coming up 10 min into the ride (I'm in sunny Singapore though, where we get 30+ deg celcius all year round)
25% faster on the speedo , 25% more mileage on the odo ... and yes i have the OZ rims with 5 bolts on the rear disc
anyone found a fix to this ? Is buying a new set of Koso RX2n a sure fix? |
