Wonder if anyone can help, looking for somewhere ( preferably around the Midlands) to service the forks. Took them to K Tech who kept them for a week before telling me they couldn't do them as they did not have the Bimota tool. I am hoping that someone has had their forks done with a company who has the tool! Many thanks in advance.

Not in the Midlands, but I would try somebody like Maxton. If you were up for spending some money, they would put some cartridges in for you, to bring the forks right up to date.

Many thanks for the suggestion, off to Maxton later this week, they seemed hopeful that they could help. Fingers crossed!

Happy to help. Maxton are engineers, not just fitters. They will do a great job for you, as they have been doing for me for the last 30 years.

Maxton 10 out of 10 K Tech 0. Took forks to Maxton on Friday, really nice helpful people, they were 85% sure they could help and sure enough they rang today to say the forks were done, should be with me tomorrow. Can't praise them enough, great speedy service. Thanks again for recommending them.

Very happy to blow Maxton’s trumpet - thought they’d do you proud.
