Hi All,
Just purchased a 1997 DB3 Mantra.
It has been a long overdue purchase as none around in Australia for a very long time.
I really wanted a vDue - but price was way outside my wife's budget.
I'm after a Workshop Manual and an Owners manual , a PDF is OK or happy to pay a reasonable amount for originals.
Free would be most welcome of course.
I did have an original Owners manual and bike service history sent to me separately , but Australia Post lost it .
Just my luck.
Cheers,
Lozza212

I presume a Ducati workshop manual will cover the engine.
I have some info about the forks on my home page.

G'day Lozza,
The Bimota workshop manual will be next to useless for you anyway. The exploded parts manual that 2bims has will be more useful to you. And the relevant Ducati manuals for the engine. Paioli forks should have a separate manual as well as they won't be covered in the Bim manual.
Cheers,

hello Brian and Anders ,
Thanks for the information.
Much appreciated.
Anders, the fork manual is quite good and will come in handy in the future if I need to do any fork work, but all good at the moment
I have found a parts book online and very useful.
I have also found a DB3 Workshop Manual on this forum.
It is posted in a few downloads but looks complete.
Brian, you are right, not much technical info in this manual, just the usual general maintenance info for any motorcycle.
I just have to get a Ducati engine manual now.
The hoses between the cylinders are all rock hard and are a nightmare to replace.
I sure I will be making more requests for help in the future , so far it has been very encouraging.
Cheers

No worries Laurie, Where abouts in Aus are you located? I'm in Nth Qld, not a lot of Bimotas up this way though . Is your DB3 a recent import?
This forum is a great source of info but it's pretty quiet now unfortunately. Everybody seems to use FB. There are quite a few good Bimota FB groups where you'll get a much quicker response, but the forum is a much better source of info if you use the search function.
Cheers,

Hello Brian,
yes, recent import .
I bought it from Allen Smith in Brisbane who imports lots of bikes from mostly the US.
I'm in Melbourne, Diamond Creek.
Thanks for the heads-up on the FB sites.
I don't usually use FB or social media , but might have to bite the bullet.
Cheers

I don't blame you one bit for not using FB... I rarely use it myself any more. I'll send you a private message on here with my contact details if you needed to chat.
Cheers,
Brian
