Before try and get a new shock, does anyone have a spring set for a 100kg rider for the rear shock for DB7 like to sell for the extreme tech type?

Alternatively if anyone has a shock set for 100kg rider from a DB7, please let me know. Otherwise looking to get an Ohlins unit, seems only way of forward at this this stage.

Hello.....DJT77
I have gone down this road a couple of times or three!

The MATRIS is the best out the box but never available second hand.
A used OHLINS can be found from the HONDA cbr1000rr 2009-2012...just make sure its eye and eye fitting.
I bough one of these for the DB9 (exactly the same as the DB7)....it fitted a treat and made a world of difference

I have a DB9 on a s/h Honda Ohlins....the DB11VLX on a prpoer OHLINS and a 7-11 mule using the Matris......again an ideal piece of kit and better than off the shelf Ohlins

Hope these options help and make use use the EXTREME as a door stop.

Thanks

Gavin

Not wanting to start a new thread, does anyone have any pictures they can share of an ohlins rear shock mounted in a DB7/8.

Having purchased one, mechanic is not able to get it to fit, so its either wrong shock or something else and we aren't sure which is which. Appreciate any help.

Oh for Fucks sake.....you've gone and purchased from Paolo of BCP.....and it doesnt fit...BUT!!!!...I did warn you to check measurements before sending out....Did you tell him it was an Oro Nero with carbon swinging arm??..If so its his mistake get him to correct....if not...its your mistake as the aperture is smaller on the oror nero and the standard DB7 ohlins shock does not fit
