I notice in some photos the Tesi 3D have carbon shafts on the right hand side steering rods. Are they actually carbon or is it pretend?

Would love to know if I can use these on my 1D projects if they are actually carbon.

Yes....they are indeed Carbon fibre Rods.....they do have alloy inserts in the ends though for the swivel turn rose olive buckles/tie rods.....for better more secure fixing....Bimota also used Carbon Fibre Gear shaft rods sometimes on the SB8K's and Vdues.....I bought one for my Vdue...it weighed precisely 3grammes less...as evidently the carbon rod is quite thick so not much weight difference for it to be as strong

I imagine theres a bigger weight saving on the tesi3d brake and steering rods as they are replacing steel CRMO rods.....contact bimota and ask them and check length...they are now answering emails and then they put you in touch with a dealer/distributor to complete the transaction
