Hi Junky....I have a contact at Zard in Italy if you are interested...when I bought my DB5R and DB6R...I wanted rid of the cats....but already had Baffle free Zard and Arrow end cans in titanium for the 2 bikes...I wanted rid of the cats also....and Zard sold me the correct pipes direct...without cats...straight fit....Not sure which bike you have...1000cc or 1079cc version....as in Pegaso or Walbro ECU......I know with the Walbro system no changes were necessary to mapping.....Even if you got the mapping...you would need the cable...no loner in stock...and you would need the programme to read the ECU...and you would need an operating system that was out of date 12 years ago (Windows XP)...NOTHING newer works with the software....And you need to ensure the "Comms Port 1" can be assigned solely for the cable
Wheels on the DB6R were Russian made I believe..same as used on the DB7...but that's not a great help |

Ciao,
I have the 1100ccm with Walbro controller.
I have been told that a Bimota technician with a lot of love and effort has developed a mapping extra for the Zard exhaust.
That's why I like the mapping. The equitment to play the software should not be the problem.
greeting

Hi Dirk,
Did you find SW for you ECU?
I bought a DB6 in Italy a year ago, running on Zard exhausts, and I think they have changed the mapping.
Now I drive with the original exhausts and the bike is running a bit to rich.
I am not able to reset the ECU to original SW.
What is the experience with your bike? |

Hi Johan...I have the Walbro Software.....but its too large to email....but easily burnt onto a CD-rom......theres several files and folders and sub folders....and I have a schematic of the software cable needed to make one....which uses a Ducati fuel gauge sender 4 flat pin connecter |
