Not my work...but a snippet of the recent Mcr Bike Show.... This year.....
https://www.facebook.com/ManchesterBikeShow/videos/322180828402208/
BIG QUESTION IS???????????????
ANYONE FANCY DOING A BIG BIMOTA ONLY STAND NEXT YEAR>>>>>TRY AND ECLIPSE AND EXCEED 36 BIMOTAS that we managed in 2017....2020 next year??
Special Appearance of 2 No. "One off" Bimotas....one that has been publicly announced recently on here...and....Hhmmm....Another "one off" Bimota that HAS NOT been announced to the General Public....Now what could that be??...Well...put your name down...come down and show or chat...and you will see.....Nuff Said...Mums the Word
As usual....Accommodation Chez "2Bims" can be provided but its on a first names basis,,,,,first served
Names please under here:-

Sorry to use the pointy stick, but shouldn't the year be 2020? Would bring 3 maybe 4 _________________ Bimota DB1, Bimota YB5, Bimota YB6 Exup, Bimota YB9 SR, Ducati NCR Replica, Moto Guzzi 750 S3, Honda CR750 race replica, Seeley-Suzuki TR500 |

Okay.......I will bring two, the DB9 and the DB7-11 VLX replica even if it is not finished...although why not, I know not.
Can I book a room and I might extend the trip slightly and help dismantle the stand rather my usual....your idea...you clear it up ...approach of past years.
Regards

Room Booked Gav.....If the weathers nice and I get overbooked theres a 4 man tent option in the garden...and If I take all my bims down to the show...the garage will be half empty and thus is a 3rd option also....Its insulated, heated, carpeted and with a dehumidifier fitted....Just needs a bucket in the corner and an outside shower rigging up....
To be fair....I didn't do much of the "tidying" up in 2017...other than dragging bikes back home....as I'd spat my dummy by then...Will have to think of a new disguise if I'm doing this next year....As I've gotten out of the "nuns" habit |

OK Folks......The "Manchester Bike Show - 2019" is now up and live on "t'internet" and an application for the Bimota Forum and UK Bimota FB page has been written out, scanned and emailed and posted and also strapped to the leg of a pigeon and sent off...Early February they let us know if "we're in"
Would be great to get some "new Blood" and bimotas never shown here before...but as always everyone is welcome.

Steve, 2017 was great and if I can get my DB2 HF MotoCorse tribute up and running I’ll be there. Have a few cash flow problems at the mo that make a firm commitment to finishing the resto on time difficult but this at least this gives me a target and added incentive.
With (no doubt) your modded DB2 there it would be great to also get an FE and SR there to complete the lineup.
Does anybody know the whereabouts of any YB or SB series race bikes as I’m sure most punters are even less aware of that side of Bimota history than the road bikes (plus an SB1 is just SOOOOO pretty!) _________________ Not as many bikes as I would like and already too many to keep up with! |

Ben Wylie has said he'd bring his yb4 race bike and a bb3....my db2 I hadnt planned on taking....I have hooks on a db2fe to be brought...a half fairing DB2 would be nice...
I would like to do all different to before years..a few specials....stripped bikes etc...but happy to get what we get....but I'm "tarting about" between 2 or 3 stands next year...so less bims |

Would definitely have a nice display of Bimotas if you and 2bims and laminator (and a few others) had all of your treasures lined up in one spot _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |
