This is just a prior to sales notice. I’ll provide more info shortly.

Would prefer to sell to someone in Australia, but are happy to ship worldwide after payment has been made.

The Australian dollar is known affectionately as the ‘Pacific Paso’ so these prices may be attractive for people not living in 3rd world countries.

The 1098R presents as new… more info to come, and I think there may be some issues to resolve regarding milage:

The race 996 is a fresh run in, professionally built from scratch, impeccable quality bike.

I will also be putting one of my surpluses to needs Australian delivered and complied Yamaha FZR750RR OW01 later next year. It has top 10 ten WSBK providence.

It’s back in road trim, and has been not restored, but detailed. All engine mechanicals where replaced after its innings as a race bike. It was owned and raced by Australian Peter Guest.

Rough price guide for the 3 bikes in Australian dollars is:

1098R 35K
996 race bike 15K
Yamaha FZR750RR 40K

More info to come.

This is a built from parts bike.

The front end is 748R, identical to 916R and the 996R. It's has been re-sprung and revalved with a full racetech kit through it.

Engine is a fresh 996, fitted with a Ducati performance slipper clutch, and lightened race flywheel.

It is fitted with adjustable, and dialed V-two cam timing gears.

Overhauled Ohlins rear shock and steering damper.

Full Termi 54mm race exhaust system.

Has been remapped and dyno tuned to suit modifications.

Comes with front and rear stands and tyre warmers and starter pack.

Quality race-glass, all work done by qualified engineer.

Meticulously prepared, with no money spared, and ready to go, race or track.

Cheers.
