|

Hello.
I have a problem with the fuel level sensor, it has a leak. Leaking through the wire. I tried to glue the sealant but after a while it starts to flow again. Who solved this problem? What makes it possible to replace the sensor?
thanks |

unfortunately the ebay link does not work anymore. so cant give you the provider name...
search for "fuel-low". there you can find the thread.
good luck. _________________ SB6 mk1. YZF750R.FZR1000 |

I had the same with mine on my DB2.....I drained the tank and let it all dry...and used 2-pack epoxy to seal around the area...still all good after 2 years.....Any form of sealant would have to be fuel resistant to work...most aren't.... |

To be honest I’m very surprised that the low fuel sensor is still working. Most of them pack it in. I’ve not yet seen a suitable replacement item. If it’s still working, seal it up with a 2 pack epoxy as 2bims said _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |
