Hi!
Since some weeks i own a Tesi 3D.
I'm looking for a front stand which gives me the possibility to remove the front wheel.
Any recommendations?
Thanks, Franz |

Welcome to the forum Franz. Would love to see a pic or two of your Tesi, in fact pics are mandatory around here
I'm no help with regard to the front stand other than to suggest a universal stand _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |

Hi Franz,
I had the same problem with my tesi 3d, the location of the bobbins is so close to the alloy torque arms that any stand would interfer and cause damage, l couldnt find any stand that could do the job.
when l need access to front wheel l get a friend to lift front of bike and pop two axle stands under front of engine support plates. This will give great access to front end. |

Nice pictures...and bikes, welcome to the Forum....sounds like the rear end....on DB5 and DB6...fitted with bobbins...but so close to the spindle nut that when on a stand using the bobbins you cant fit a hex socket on the spindle nut...Grrghhh..
I suppose on the front you could ride the bike onto a piece of wooden plank...put on sidestand....then position the axle stands appropriately...then simply role the bike off the piece of wood onto the stands??? |

You can use a standard rear stand like PitBull. There are two threaded holes on the front swing arm that you can attach stand spools. I used longer bolts and found aluminum sleeves that were the correct size. This will get the spools the correct distance from the swing arm. I raise the rear first and then the front. I took off the front wheel with no issues and the stand was not in the way.

I used Waggy's system the first time I took the front wheel off. It worked well also.
