Planning on having a few trinkets on display from the wonderful Paolo of BimotaClassicParts at this years show.......he's sent me through some literature, business cards, stickers etc that will be handed out......and I'll take down a few leather bimota key holders for anyone thats interested that turns up.(When I say that "turns up"...20,000 people came last year...evidently all of them bikers....and it felt like that many came to our stand at times also....)

Hi Steve, thank you a lot! yes, we will send you many others items for "Manchester Show 2016" (2nd and 3rd April), including (if you want) Bimota Classic Parts IGT 2009 is a excellent Classic Chianti : it's composed of 40% Merlot, Syrah 30%, Cabernet 16% Sangiovese and 14%. Aging is done in a mixture of barriques (about 25%), traditional barrels of 30 hectoliters (about 50%) and the rest in steel. A soft wine, fruity with a strong Tuscan character.
Thank you so much, kind regards

BCP Classic Chianti....if we want?? You must be joking....anything with Bimota on it has a big "yes" attached to it....and if Vorts wife is at the show again she'd manage the 30 hectolitres just by herself in a weekend,,,,,
Any and all support is as always, greatly appreciated Paolo.......
I've also been trying to get Bimota Factory on board via MariaElena...and she has replied...but cant offer anything at the moment...not even a sales brochure or 2........sad really........ |

Gents , it is with a sad heart I have to say this but it appears for a number reasons I may not be able to attend all of the Manchester show this year , if any . ( Will know more over the next few weeks)
I am quite happy to leave the stand booking open but need to know if there is going to be anyone else attending to fill the stand .
I was down to supply 5/6 bikes this year plus the usual , banners/flags/mats/vdue engine/ pop-up banners etc etc that I have had made over the last few years.
I usually also help 2bims set up on the Friday and help move 2bim's bikes on my trailer/van ,then spend the weekend talking to anyone who wants to hear about Bimota , including getting stitched up by 2bim's last year with a radio interview !!
It appears this year it was going to be down to me and 2Bims ( possibly Lammie) to run the stand, which we were quite happy to do , but 2Bims can not do it on his own.
I have spoken to 2bim's and unless there are other forum members who can help out we are going to cancel the stand . |

I'm surprised that there are so many UK members and UK Bimota owners and you can't get even a couple that have the time to help. What a shame, you guys have put so much hard work into this show for the last couple years. I only wish I were closer _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |

It is a shame Brian. We started on the smallest stand , right at the back the first year coming second to the Goldwing club for best club stand. ( and those boys outclass some of the factory stands, they spend thousands on their stuff) . Following year we were propelled up to the largest club stand opposite Yamaha UK and next to Suzuki UK , very scary !!!!! Although lots of lycra clad girlies . (Apparently one of the organisers likes our bikes )
Last year we were opposite the Ducati club stand , think they had about 5 or 6 bikes and 8-10 staff on a 6x12 stand , we had 16 bikes was it and 3 people plus my kids on a 12x12m stand . |

Two volunteers....from the south.
Happy to confirm that as per conversation with 2bims.
We will bring 2 bikes to the show.
We'll leave Essex before the dawn is awake and should arrive in Madchester sometime eight..ish.
Do we just head for Salford and stop short of the gang-wars or are there any special instructions.....we will not be wearing a kagool....regardless of the make _________________ On an Island in the River Thames!

Waterproofs are always advisable in Manchester.
2 new people and bikes will be good.
Access on Saturday is OK till about 9am and venue is Event City next to the Trafford centre, about 3 minutes off the motorway. |

So few people come forward to help 2bims out and today I received the first guess at the stand allocation . We got C85-88 which I have marked on the map.

Opposite the VJMC who have a same sized stand....and the Velocette club with same size stand....surprising if they can fill it
Very close to the catering stand...Poor Bimotas will be stinking of pies and beer after 2 days of being that close....and close to the trade boys also...a busy corner to be on |

Awesome spot right opposite the tucker stand (catering). Not so far for the elderly gents amongst us that will be looking after the Bimota stand for those long hours, to go for food and toilet breaks _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |
