Hello".......the image 2 of 6 on your photographs are my favourite.
The other Db9 in the UK uses drop mirrors and looks good
I like the standard mirrors although maybe could be a better height.
It would be nice to see your final choice and final images
Any other info you need...if I can help ...I will
Good luck _________________ On an Island in the River Thames!

| Hi Gavin944888, thanks for the comments. I'm leaning towards the DPM mirriors at the moment, they actually let you see more of the road! So I've been told by a friend who has a pair. Lightech are closer to the origins, so I like them because of the similarity. One thing you may be able to help with. I've noticed some stone chips on the leading edge of the lower front fairing. So am considering to have them detailed. Would you know the colour code of the white pearlescent paint on the DB9? Otherwise will contact Bimota to get the code. How was your trip? |

Hi laminator, thanks for tidying up my photos. I tried to get the individual images up as you did, but was unsuccessful. So that's why I put the link to Photobucket. Cheers |

Hello...............RedBlack&White.
I had a look at mirrors and went a different way.

Bought these CNC machined mirrors for their finish and extened the non existant rise. _________________ On an Island in the River Thames!

The images are problematic when you do not know what you are doing!

Hello.........as if by magic Brian from the land of OZ will hopefully upload some images, as I seem unable to manage it.
In these photographs you will see the box and name of the manufacture of the mirrors and the CNC finish of the units.
Being imported the socket head bolts had to be machined down to fit in the arm counterbore...ho hum
... and the mirrors had either 40mm or 50mm extensions added along with 2 X 70mm long fine thread 1.00 pitch M10 socket heads.
Once all the bits were bolted up and lockthread applied, all was good and finished off the bars on the DB9.
But the rough machine finish from a flycutter looks really good when anodized black.
Thanks in advance to Brian ....hoots mon! _________________ On an Island in the River Thames!

This man is a star and if anyone can tell me where my photo inserting is going wrong ....both myself but especially Brian....will be very grateful.
As for the mirrors...I had to machine a sleeve to lift the height off the bar clamp as the original design was toooooooo low...but otherwise happy with the finish but getting peeved that everything that comes from China seems to be wrong......Shaun..my business partner reckons the only thing that they are good .....at is food!
Bearing in mind my counterfeit RAMAIR filters and some delaminating (gentle Jesus....what is happening) Ducati (supposedly) brake disc pads....I am at a loss in buying anything with is pukka!........both the filters and the pads came from normally reliable bike supply companies!
Anyway....thanks for the up load Brian and I hope it helps anyone else _________________ On an Island in the River Thames!
