I have looked at motogadget, but thought they were a bit overkill and too modern for this simple bike.
The wiring loom is typical honda, generally good; the bodges were made afterwards to make the loom go were it was needed.
The original switchs had the lighting circuit on both sides of the bar, were the new modern one is just on the left, but with the help of the wiring diagram it was easy to adapt.
At the moment I have connected the battery, and everything seems to work OK, good spark, cranking, lights etc, just have to connect the new dash and if everything works well there, i will order the new wiring etc.
But not for a while yet, still sleep deprived from the twins |

Twins Keith....gulp. I thought our 20 month old was hard work. Just getting caught up on sleep now. But so enjoyable. Man cave time is very precious. _________________ Dreaming of a Tesi in the garage. |

Ha ha. The nappies are never ending!!!! It was 7 months before our monkey slept through the night....something to look forward too. Maybe slept deprivation will make you sell the Tesi Please????? _________________ Dreaming of a Tesi in the garage. |

Things still moving slowing, but nappies aren't.
Bodywork just back from paint, still have a bit of wiring to do if the rug rats will allow me. The seat is a bespoke item and a damn sight more comfortable than what was there before.

Hi Waggi,
Good to hear from you!
Haven't been to busy with mine (SB4) due to personal circumstances but still very much interested.
So greath to see some action/news from my biggest inspirer!
Paint looks flawless how is the fairing?
Also: how is the seat made?
Is is fix mounted on the bodywork or does it have a hard shell base of itself?
Ciao K,
Frank |

Your seat / tank unit came up a treat waggy. I too like what you've done with the seat pad. Keep up the good work.
Oh, and a belated congratulations on the twins _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |

Hi all,
The seat has a hard base of its own, which has been formed to match the contours of the bodywork. For fixing the seat, two captive nuts have been fitted to hard base at rear of seat on vertical section which align with two holes already present on bodywork from previous seat. The front hole aligns with bodywork mounting hole. Davey and his crew at paintbox have done another fab job on the paint, fairing etc look great. |

Looking good Keith,
Great to see you are getting some bike time. Things must be settling down with the twins. Love to see more pic's?

Cool. I've been given orders to finish the veranda reno, so once that's done I'll be back onto some of my projects too. Hard to fit in anything when you've got twins I guess _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |
