Hello folks, I bought a SB6 probably a year or so ago, Very low miles excellent condition, It starts and runs as sweet as a nut but the only problem it had was it blue smoked slightly, low on compression on 1 and 4 cylinders, I would imagine that the valve stem oil seals have gone hard and needs replacing and probably the rings have gummed up, I have taken the fairing off the carbs off and its ready just to drop the engine to sort out the engine, I have even fabricated a engine frame ready to do the job myself, I have a brand spanking new front fairing for the bike still in its box which is the same colour as mine which is red and gunmetal grey, That alone cost me £900, nothing wrong with the original i just bought it as a spare, I also have a brand new radiator which cost me £300 again still in its original suzuki box everything will be sold with the bike, The bike and all the bits stand me at £6650, I am looking for £4500 there is some good profit there for someone, The only reason I am selling is i have sold my house and I am going to be struggling for room...anyone interested please call Tommo on 07794797986 or 01652655322 just reduced the price lads £4000 gets the lot, The bike is exactly as described. Dropped the price by £500. |

Sorry to hear that it has to go Tommo. That sounds a very reasonable price mate, even by GB standards. Would be looking at almost twice that to find a descent sb6 in Australia... even without the spare fairing and radiator.
Best of luck with the sale. _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |

Hello Brian,
I never planned on selling it mate, I got myself all set up to do the oil seals and free off the rings and thats as far as i got with te old girl, The previous owner had the bike stood for to many years without running it and it does a bike no good whatsoever, Its alright keeping them low mileage but they still need running from time to time, I am having to sell my gs1000 and my old z650 to, I am just going to have no room for them all...Take care Brian. |

Hello Evilchicken, That would be an option but there is a real shortage of rentals where we live, I am struggling to find a house to rent at the minute, When we start building the house we are going to need somewhere to live but there is not many around..Regards Tommo |

Do you have a reasonable sized site ? If so, rent a container and put them in there, they're secure and watertight _________________ Don't read everything you believe |
