Its Easter ... Happy Easter.
Over the last week or so I've been waking the BIM up. Ive got a new pair of batteries off the bay for £75 - its those yellow motobatts. Sprayed a bit of cleaner at the carbs new fuel and did a couple of small jobs.
It started first jab (ish).
Then to celebrate I painted the inside of the fairing. The light grey is thermo reflective, then spayed satin black in the upper and added the fairing foil. I'm going to run a bead of super glue around the edge before fitting.
Now I'm I'll with a cold and a Son's birthday to go to _________________ Don't read everything you believe |

Looks good Boris. I need new batteries for mine too. Had any experience with the Motobatt batteries? They're not a bad price. _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |

I've gott Motobatts on a couple of my bikes....although only had them for 6 months or so so no real test for them yet as such....at least they are maintenance free sealed for life and come ready to go from the box.....they are VERY yellow though...so depends where they fit on your bikes really if you can live with the colour.......... |

I haven't used them before but they were a similar price to the usual type. I got them from E-Parts on eBay try item 370727791592 I don't know if they'd be cheaper direct but there's a phone number on the description. Postage is quick too.
Other forums say you should discharge and recharge them before you use them. _________________ Don't read everything you believe |

I knew I'd seen that somewhere - but I thought I'd stick to these this time around.
Do you have a link or a part number for those ?
One of my next jobs will be to take the fairing subframe off and get it repainted _________________ Don't read everything you believe |
