Well, I never did get around to fixing the headlight issue. In fact, due to a variety of circumstances, I didn't even ride the bike for more than two years!
I ended up trading it in on a near new DB6 about 6 weeks ago. While the SB6 is a fantastic - albeit narrowly focused - Superbike, the Delirio is just a great all around, everyday rider. Love it. _________________ SB6 |

About 500 miles or so. Here's a pic.

Thanks Brian. I've been told by someone who is an authority on the brand that there's a very good chance that mine is the only black-framed DB6 in the U.S. Mine was the display bike at the 2007 LA Motorcycle show - in fact I think it was the only model that Bimota had on display that year!
Chicken - I've given up the bike, but I know where it is if I ever want it back. Not ready to completely give up the signature yet! _________________ SB6 |

Great to see that you know the history of the bike. I'm partial to tri-colour... but the black on yours does look fantastic. The black frame ties in nicely. I bet it looks even better in the flesh. _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |

My lights are fairly poor too. Doesn't worry me that much as i very rarely ride at night. The thing that annoys me is that the headlights look hazy as if theres a film of smoke on the inside of the glass. Might see if i can clean them inside somehow. _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |

Thanks. It looks really good in person. Good mix of matte black, with a lot of carbon pieces. A carbon seat cowl will finish it off nicely. _________________ SB6 |
