Indeed... My Bimota was bought in Maniago. I'm quite regularly in Udine... Do you know Motoatelier from Fiumicello? |
Perhaps I know who sold your bike, his name is Marco?
Yes I know MotoAtelier, of Marino Delle Vedove _________________ http://bcomebimota.blogspot.it/ |

I bought the bike from a guy called Renzo.
Cheers!

WOW that is really a stunning machine, congratulations.
The DB5 seems to have been quite a popular machine for track bikes and upgrades |

It does look very business like. Love it. What is the tank and fairing from? _________________ Pomps

I can see the rear swinging arm is from a Ducati S2R/S4R...single sider, which looks nice enough, although it is so chunky for bracing that it weighs the same as a normal double sider...so merely for aesthetics or quick wheel changes I suppose...You can get Db5 Race track bodywork, but that bike hasnt got that type on it, basically it looks the same as normal Db5 bodywork but more enclosed |

No, no… you get it wrong… this is bike of our acquaintance (spiderman), Marino Delle Vedove. He runs:

Some previous stage of his racing DB5 modification:

The tail is db5 that has been shortened by cutting off the last 5 inches or so. The front fairing is almost definitely not db5 though... Is it a rsv4 with mods? Going to have to hunt thru images! _________________ Pomps

Here is the db5 race body and the difference is huge. Look at the line of the belly pan and nose...

Are you sure there aren't 4 valves?
For supertwins italian championship you can use a Ducati engine with 4 valves, but 2 valves must be with desmo and the 2 other with springs.
