Keith, there is NO SUCH THING as "spare" money!!!
Secondly, you would need it! As tempting as a bike like this may seem, ALL of the seals, bearings, internal engine components, etc. would need some serious attention.
I mistakenly allowed my bike to sit unattended for 3+ years (cervical spine surgery) and I am now PAYING the "piper"!!
Now, I am sure we all know about dry rot and the like.

And it also creates a dilemma .......a lovely bike that you cannot ride.
Been there done that !!!!!
Far better to have a very low mileage bike that is run regularly, but clearly has not had much use! |

Dioesn't bother me to see it, it's a collectors piece not a riders bike. There should always be collections of mint bikes just to show how they were. _________________ Don't read everything you believe |
