Hey guys, it has been a while, time is going fast....

I received the heatshield and it looks very nice Very Happy About the SB6, I've driven it for the 2nd time now and besides the mechanical sound when it's cold (it looks like an oilcooled gixxer..hence maybe worse!) and around 7000rpm there's stong vibration noticeable. Very Happy The 2nd time on the road it seemed that the bike started to run on 2 cilinders but maybe it's drowning in to much fuel.

So I haven't made real fun miles yet Sad But I wasn't expecting a bike without any problems after standing still for 10 (or so) years Wink

Sounds familiar. Sad
The start with sb6 ownership is 1 riding hour 20 maintenance hours. Shocked

Well you guys were right, the Bim had not ran smooth anymore since somewhere last Year. Every time I rode it, it ran differently. It had a dead spot around 4000rpm and the reaction on the throttle was below 4500 rpm really bad.

The membrane of the petcock was leaking so fuel was directed into the intake of cilinder nr. 3 right away. After replacing the bike did run better but still not like it should. So after reading the carb setting thread here I made some adjustments. I changed the floater hight to 12.5 mm and opened the pilot 1 5/8. That already made a big improvement although I have not ridden the bike yet.
