Looking Good Nige, be sure to slipstream something aerodynamic , like a double decker bus, and I'm sure she'll be rock sold.
I'm assuming the Zorst is the race system that you picked up? Must get round to hear it in the flesh, so to speak.... |

Very nice job Nige, looking good.
The aerodynamic characteristics of the bike aren’t that bad…. It’s the blinkers they look like bricks on a stick.
Oh well,… you can always tune the engine to compensate the drag. _________________ vince

You've made a very nice job of one of my favourite bike's Nige.

The SB4 was the GSX1100 engine the SB5 used the 1100 katana engine _________________ Don't read everything you believe |

...every day's a school day...
I thought the Katana engine is a GSX 1100 engine
What's the difference? _________________ SB6 mk1 (project mega light, big bore)

It was on a spread sheet showing Bimota models and the engines they used, that was on the Enthusiasts website. I rememberred it because it said a Kat engine. The 5 though used a bigger capacity than the 4.
I suppose if all the GSX1100 engines are also Katana engines then saying it's a Kat engine is as true as saying it's a just a GSX1100 _________________ Don't read everything you believe |

depends on the age of the GSX motor
the early ET/EX version had slightly milder cams, different alt/rotor set-up, etc. than the Kat1100 version
but the later ESD/EZ type basically adopted the Kat spec..............
no capacity change (1075cc) until the later EF motor appeared (1135cc) |
