Hooray, and Congrats, now theres no stopping you. I'd go for the disc from Bmota-teille if thats cheaper and seems the same, Crankies a trusty old soul with his knowledge and I've bought from Bimota-Teille and Bimota-parts.de before, both sound companies, you will need to direct bank transfer funds in euros though, neither take paypal or credit card etc, costs around a tenner at your local bank to sort sending of funds, shop around as some banks charge more than others or offer poor exchange rates. You will need IBAN and SWIFT codes from the seller but they know this.
I use AXIA FX, you transfer monies to a euro account and they give the best exchange rate and transfer where you want for no charge whatsoever, and you get your own personal dealer, who emails, calls and so on. Axia.Fx.com or some such, just google. Or if just the one transaction then bank transfer, but the exchange rate they offer is woeful to say the least |

Nice picture, looks like Chris Newbiggins leathers, and even though a grey sky, much more atmospheric, I assume you got the full disc of photos sent by PS like myself. Really good to get and worth the loan in my opinion. they don't mind you publishing on the Forum but don't send to other magazines or sell on ebay or such as the guys doing the articles and taking the photos are all self employed and sell the license to the pictures to Bauer Publishing (PS, Bike, MCN etc) and get in trouble if they appear elsewhere, but they say the Forum is fine. I had the pleasure of their company for the full day and went along on one of my other bikes which they took piccies of also. Rocked up at 10am and didn't leave till 4pm, hadn't realised there was so much time taken for a 15 minute reading time article. Roll on with more piccies, always good to see
Heres the link to the piccies I put up also on the Forum if you haven't seen them

If you didn't get last months PS issue with the DB2 article in I could email you the scan of the article if interested, just pm your email address
But Shhh...Don't wany anyone to know what I'm doing
I already have your article as I bought this months editions, the magazine could be twice the size if they only used 10% of the pictures they take |

I stll haven't cracked uploading photo's
Can anyone point me in the right direction, I clicked on Img while posting a reply then uploaded a photo (I thought) copied the URL and clicked on IMG again but all that happened was the URL was typed out in the post above but the photo was not attached?
Thanks |
You got it almost right. However something went wrong with the upload as the file that got to the server was empty (0kb) (possibly you moved to a different page before the upload finished).
Also there were a load of spaces after the file name.
All the best
