Page 16 of the April 2012 Edition. - BIMOTA DB2

Now I'm not to sure how true or correct or full the comments made are in there, as I sent the article to them some 2 years ago!! So for anyone wanting to send an article in, be prepared to wait awhile I suppose, I recall I may have wrote some words thanking Friends and Forum members for their assistance but they are not in the article (Heck I've moved jobs 3 times/offices/email addresses so lost the original email I sent in) So once again, thanks, Nice to be "In Print" and evidently its had the effect the publisher desired, i.e. I am now 410 pennies poorer than this morning Laughing

Thats pretty cool eh steve. I bet you'd forgotten all about it seeing as how it's been so long. Not sure if we get that mag down yonder but i'll check the newsagent. If i can't get it you might have to scan it and post up for us to read? Wink

Email Sent Brian with the one pager attached, short reading, and its upside down scan so should be the right way up for you when it gets "down under" Laughing

Had a few running issues with the DB4 myself. THought it was time to take the bodywork off anyhow and see what I've bought. Carbs were given a clean, fresh fuel filter fitted, exhausts were stripped off and I noticed that the rear cylinder header nuts were only finger tight, can't have helped the running issue, so now sorted with fresh SS nuts properly tightened, front and rear headers. Time for spark plugs, thought the rear would be tricky to get to with a spark plug spanner, but upon removing the cap and grabbing the plug it rocked from side to side, it was that loose!! Evidently my shake down run had found a few parts looser than they should be. All sorted now though. Perhaps best to check yours also? Duc engines can rattle their bolts loose on a frequent basis and always best to run round the engine checking each one in turn. Front header pipe though has to be taken off to reach and tighten the 4 crankcase half retaining bolts as the fitting of the header is so close to the underside of the crank.
