I just found this forum while searching for some parts.
I have an Anthracite-Red SB6 that I bought last year in Greece.
It was in good condition but standing fo ryears. I rebuilt it myself in my garage and now everything is in order.
I bought a red SB7 costume last year from ebay and now I'm not too afraid of damages as I take the SB6 to the track sometimes.
My other bikes are
BMW R26 1957
BMW R75/6 1975
Yamaha SR500 1981
Honda Hornet 900 2005 (daily ride)
I haven't been to UK lately but I did spend 2 years in Bradford and one in Lverpool while studying Mechanical Engineering.
Cheers and I hope to be able to help some people here! |

Hi All,
I have only just joined this forum, I have a passion for most things on 2 wheels especialy Italian, I have 7 Ducati's, 1 Moto Guzzi, 1 Honda.
I like the Db1, Db2, Sb6, Sb8 and even Tesi Id/Es
mostly Vtwin, I am presently selling 2 of my bikes 749s & LeMans Mk11 to help fund replacement, have not made my mind up yet, but considerring a number of bikes. What is the consensus of opionion regarding Bimota's identified above.
My Bikes are:
2 x Paul Smart, 1 quite tricked up, the other std and sits in house! sad or what
748R-02
749s
900Sl mk1
851 Tricolore
888 Strada
Honda sp1
Guzzi LeMans mk11
now each and every one of these are ridden regulary on the road, 851 & 888 have toured Eire, France and the Sp1 is going to Dubrovnic this year, meet the wife there, she fly's well not literally.
any way would appricaite your comment especialy on any of the Vtwin bimota's with regard to owning & running these wonderfull machines.
Regards

Hi
Thing that would put me off a DB1 is the lack of tyres. And so the need to chop it around for more appropriate size wheels.
I would love a Tesi but understand changing the belts on one is a major job (basically strip the bike completely).
All the best

thanks for posting the pic's madasfook
the Super Squalo was made by Vee Two here in Australia
only made a handful of them, one is in the UK
169KG hand built John Keogh designed body work all carbon fibre 208HP @ the back wheel
Single sided swing arm/ custom exhaust and Sprintex Supercharger
no mirrors just a rear facing camera
when feeling postively like scaring the shit out of myself i go for a ride
rode it at goodwood in 2006
Alan Cathcart tested one and blew a BUSA off at IOMTT saw 300plus up the straight going over the mountain
hope you like the pic's guys |

Hi This Pete in Connecticut,
I have several Bimota's in my collection currently of 90 plus bikes. Here's some of them.
1999 Vdue 500
1986 DB1
1986 DB1 SR
1997 SB6
1999 YB11
2003 SB8R
1993 Deci
I like the Vdue 500 the best. It is soooo cool looking. Too bad it runs like crap. |

Hi Pete
Haven't you logged onto in excess of 30 bike forums around the world displaying your collection? I think you posted numerous pictures on the Performance Bikes Forum which is now locked unless you're a registered user. One picture below:

Hello,
I am from Las Vegas. I just purchased a new DB7. This is my first Bimota and cant be any happier. I have painted the rims silver and painted the belly pan white with the red/black logo. Just wanted to brighten up the bike.

nflpats that picture makes me want a DB7. That's the way it should've come from the factory. Beautiful!
